Chartered status re-affirmed for 2015
We are delighted to announce that our status as a chartered firm has been confirmed by the Chartered Institute of Insurance for the 5th year running.
To obtain chartered status there are a number of stringent criteria which we are very pleased to have worked hard to meet demonstrating our acute dedication to professionalism and upholding of the strict code of ethics.
What does Chartered status mean?
It means that we must provide access to a Chartered Financial Planner who will have completed the requisite degree level examinations much the same as a Chartered Accountant would. All Chartered Financial Planners also commit to continued professional development which put simply means we never stop learning to make sure we are always up to speed with new legislation, regulation and technical changes.
It also means the firm must have in place a professional development programme for all staff not just advisers as well as adhering to the CII’s code of ethics. This ensures high standards are maintained throughout the business.
